BOOKING EVENTS
How far in advance should I book?
If you want a specific item or performer we suggest you book as soon as possible or a few months ahead. If you just need a bounce house and are not particular to the style, a couple weeks is good. Just remember that our availability changes daily and we cannot hold items without a reservation.

 

Can I book online?
No. Please call the office. Due to the large area we service and the wide range of party times requested we need to check the availability of your item along with the feasibility that we can service your location.

 

Do you take last minute bookings?
Yes. If we can fit you in without affecting our other customers, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Keep in mind that our offerings and availability decrease the closer we get to the event date.

 

Do I need to sign anything?
Yes. We create an Event Agreement for each booking that shows the details of what we discussed. It confirms that you and Merry Makers are working with the same information. We need it signed and returned as soon as possible to guarantee your reservation.
Onsite: There must be an adult available to sign our Rental Agreement / Liability Release form during the entire delivery window. This is a standard agreement that includes, but is not limited to, your agreement to follow the rules of safe operation, to care for the equipment, and to assume all liability for any injuries or damage that could occur while the equipment is in your possession. Everyone who rents equipment from us is required to sign this agreement.

 

Do you have different requirements during different times of the year?
Yes. Our busiest times are June through September. On the busiest days, usually weekends, we may limit our delivery range for single item rentals and require minimum hours for performers scheduled between Noon-4pm.


PAYMENT
Types of Payment:
We accept Visa, M/C, AMEX, Cash and Checks.

 

Are deposits required?
Yes. Once you book, we are committed to taking care of your event. Your requested items are placed on reserve for you only. If more than 2 weeks prior to the event we ask that you send a check for a minimum payment of 50% of the total price to guarantee your reservation. If less than 2 weeks prior, we ask that you come in with cash or pay by credit card.

 

Credit and debit card transactions:
We intend to charge your card ONCE for payment of services. The full amount is due at the time of booking when you pay with a credit or debit card. During the booking process, we will ask you for the billing address you use for your card. It is needed for verification.

 

When is payment due?
Generally, expect to have at least the deposit due within 5 days of booking. Once you have booked our services you will receive an Event Agreement that specifies the payment terms and due date. Full payment is due prior to setup of equipment or performance of services—unless special arrangements have been made. Our drivers do not carry cash to make change.

 

Check Return Policy
There is a $25 fee on all returned checks.


CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may cause you to cancel or reschedule your event. We will do our best to accommodate any schedule changes that arise.

 

Cancellation Policy
For orders that are canceled at least 30 days prior to the event customers may receive a full refund less costs incurred by Merry Makers. Orders that are cancelled 29 days prior to the event date will receive a company credit equal to the amount customer has paid. There are no refunds on cancellations less than 30 days prior to the event.

 

For cancellations less than 24 hours before the event setup time, there will be no refunds or credits given with the possible exception of weather-related issues.

 

Weather-Related Cancellations: Living in the Northwest, we understand the possible need to reschedule events due to weather. On the event day, Merry Makers staff will make the decision on whether the weather conditions require equipment substitution or if the equipment cannot be used. Jumparoo bounce houses with an added rain cover are often used in rain shower forecasts. These bounce houses, if available and appropriate for participants, may replace larger, inflated rides like Obstacle Courses and Slides if there are rain showers in the forecast. The cost difference will be given as a credit to the customer. In the case of severe weather conditions including high winds and heavy rain, inflatable rides may not be used outdoors unless protected from the elements. In this instance, with Merry Makers staff approval, a Merry Makers credit for the amount paid may be issued to the customer.

 

There are no refunds or credits for:
Lack of adequate electricity. The requirements are listed online and in the paperwork we send you.
Cancellations once our personnel are en route.
 
Inability to setup up due to site being inappropriate for equipment (size, ground surface. etc), lack of permission for site use or lack of an adult present to sign Release Form.
 


Credits for Rescheduling
Credits must be used for another, mutually agreed upon, event within 12 months of the canceled event date. They are transferable and dependent upon item availability. Events may be rescheduled once before re-scheduling fees are charged. On each subsequent reschedule there will be a 20% of the total event cost charged.

 

DAMAGE aND CLEANING FEES
We expect there to be a certain level of wear and tear on the equipment from regular usage. The fees listed below are for issues beyond general wear and tear. They are written here to create awareness and inform you of what to avoid.
Silly String use will always cause a fee to be charged. It stains the vinyl.
Spilled food, candy or drinks inside the units will incur a cleaning fee.
 
Unlandscaped areas, sand and grass clippings may trigger a cleaning fee as well. Please rake up cut grass.
 
Putting the equipment on unlandscaped areas, gravel or irregular stone can cause damage to our equipment.
